Women in Technical Communication (#womeninTC) supports women in technical communication by providing mentorship and developing resources. Part research initiative, part professional organization, Women in Technical Communication conducts research projects on and about mentoring and other forms of service and holds events both online and at academic conferences throughout the year.
Winners of the 2015 SIGDOC Diana Award, for significant contribution to the field of communication design, Women in Technical Communication provides a space for women to address issues that affect their lives and builds mentoring programs/infrastructures to respond to these varied needs.
